Hird takes five

Hull, UK based crane and access sales and rental company Peter Hird & Sons has added five Hinowa Performance IIIS spider lifts to its fleet.

The company has purchased three different models in the Performance IIIS range, including a 14 metre Hinowa 14.75 Gold Lift, 17 metre Hinowa 17.75 Light Lift and 23 metre Hinowa 23.12 Light Lift, with seven, 7.5 and 11.4 metres working outreach respectively and gross weights of 1,700kg, 2,239kg and 2,990kg. Features include a single button outrigger system, hydraulically powered extendable tracks and radio or a wired remote controls.

Managing director Phil Hird said: “We are delighted to add these Hinowa lifts to our fleet. The new spider booms deliver excellent performance and have new, advanced features that we know our customers will appreciate. We already have three out on long-term hire, which says a lot about what a good job they do.”
