Schot set for first 750 tonne Liebherr

Dutch heavy lifting and haulage company Schot Verticaal Transport is set to take delivery of the first 750 tonne Liebherr LTM 1750-9.1 All Terrain crane.

The official handover of the crane – purchased almost three years ago at Bauma 2010 – will take place on Wednesday 13th of February with the company hoping it will be ready for use by the 18th of February.

The nine axle LTM1750-9.1 has a relatively short, 52 metre boom, however this allows it to remain on board when transported on public roads. It can lift its 750 tonnes maximum capacity at three metres and has a maximum counterweight of 204 tonnes.

Schot has also expanded its transport fleet with an eight axle Notteboom MCO-PX semi low-loader with swing axles in order to carry the cranes counterweight and ancillary equipment.
