Our man is using a 14 metre lift but clearly needs a little more outreach and height, the solution? Use a flexi ladder to bridge the gap between platform and building.

A closer look highlights the risks

The chances of the platform moving and sending the ladder to the ground, along with its user, is high. On the other hand he could simply slip off and fall the eight metres or so to the ground.
