New service manager for Manitou UK

Manitou UK has appointed Mike Ritchie as service manager for Scotland and Northern England.

Ritchie has been involved with the agricultural and construction industry for 36 years, he originally served his apprenticeship with Elbar Agricar, now the Agricar group, a long standing Manitou dealer. After completing his training he moved to a heavy plant firm as an on-site engineer.

He then returned to the Agricar group in 1992 as service manager of the Forfar branch and then the Perth branch workshop. He was later promoted to branch manager of Ness Plant, a division of the Agricar exclusively dedicated to the Manitou product line.
