Hire! Freeman expands access fleet

UK-based Hire! Freeman has expanded its powered access rental fleet. The family company has purchased a new Hinowa Goldlift 14.70 tracked spider lift and three Niftylifts - one HR12 articulated boom and two 170 trailer lifts - from Access Platform Sales (APS).

Managing director John Freeman said: “APS make doing business with them really easy. They offered us a really competitive trade-in price on our old models and we trust them to provide a really high level of after-sales support for both the Hinowa and Nifty products. Product support is critical to our business; we’ve been let down in the past by other suppliers but the after-sales service from APS is always first class.”

The Hinowa Goldlift 14.70 is one of the most popular compact tracked spider lifts with a working height of 14 metres and outreach of seven metres. At under two metres high and 780mm wide it is both easy to transport and ideal in tight spaces.

The new lift went virtually straight out on rent at Wilderhope Manor in Shropshire. The Grade I Listed Elizabethan manor house, which is now a Youth Hostel, has undergone a £500,000 restoration.
