Allcrane delivers two Tadano in NZ

Mt Wellington, Auckland New Zealand-based Allcrane Sales & Services has recently delivered two Tadano mobile cranes a 110 tonne capacity All Terrain ATF 110G-5 sixty tonne GT600EX-V2 truck crane.

The 8x6x10 ATF110G-5 was purchased by Concrete Structures Rotorua to replace its aging Coles 80/88. Pre-delivery, NZTA & ACOP compliance, service and operator training was carried out with Allcrane & Tadano Oceania Pty on site at Mt Wellington allowing the crane to be delivered to site just a week after landing in Auckland lifting concrete and placing large precast concrete panels. The crane was specified with a 60 metre six section main boom and swing away extendable 25 metre fly with offsets of 20 & 40 degrees giving an under hook height of 84 metres.

The crane can travel with zero counterweight or with either 8.7, 21.4 or 42 tonnes counterweight depending on job site lift requirements.

Concrete Structures has a fleet of truck mounted and RT ranging from eight tonnes to 450 tonnes working at plants at Rotorua, East Tamaki and Hastings as well as jobsites throughout New Zealand as far south as Bluff and in the Pacific islands.

The 8x6x10 ATF110G-5 was purchased by Concrete Structures Rotorua to replace its aging Coles 80/88.


The 8x4 Tadano GT600EX was delivered to Waikouaiti Auto & Engineering located between Palmerston and Dunedin and will service the Newmont Gold mine. The 60 tonne capacity unit has a 43 metre hydraulic main boom with 8.8 to 15.2 metre extendable fly jib giving 58.7 metre under the hook with fly offsets of 5, 25 and 45 degrees.

The crane is working at Oceania Gold at MacRaes Flat – New Zealand’s largest gold mine producing an average of 273,830 ounces of gold each year from a 40 km long seam of ore bearing quartz. Since opening in 1990 it has produced 3.7 million ounces of gold.
