Cargotec completes negotiations

Cargotec has completed the employee negotiations relating to its central office restructuring.

As a result of the negotiations, the number of temporary staff will also be reduced, eliminating 33 positions, while 72 people will be made redundant in the global support, corporate, Services and Terminals business areas. 65 of the jobs to go are in Tampere, 31 in Helsinki and nine in Kaarina and Turku.

Cargotec employs around 1,000 in Finland.
Negotiations are still underway in the other countries that might be affected by the company’s new operating model.
