Liebherr for Cygnus

Liebherr Nenzing has won a contract to provide four RL2650-25 D EX Litronic offshore cranes to GDF Suez E&P UK for the Cygnus gas field project, in the southern North Sea. The RL2650 has a maximum capacity of 60 tonnes and a maximum radius of 54 metres.

The Liebherr RL2650

The Cygnus gas field is the largest to be discovered within the last 25 years in the Southern basin and is operated by GDF SUEZ. The four offshore cranes will be built at Liebherr’s production facility in Sunderland, UK.
