Russian roulette

While being driven across Moscow a reader came across a maintenance team that is totally oblivious to risk.

Using a ladder platform to reach overhead lines two men were working from the basket over the top of traffic with a colleague controlling the unit from the base.

The three appear to be totally oblivious to any safey measures

No attempt has been made to cordon the machine off and warn traffic of keep it away from the boom or outriggers. And as to outrigger mats forget it… in spite of the units small jack pads. The men in the basket do have hi-viz vests though… so I guess they’ll be OK!

Hopefully they survived the day, but with this level of ignorance they are likely to repeat the stunt the following day. A definite Death Wish
