Link Belt launches new RT

Link Belt has launched the 72.5 tonne RTC-8080 Series II, Rough Terrain crane as a replacement for its RTC-8075, expanding its series II range, filling between the RTC-8065 Series II and RTC-8090 Series II models.

The new model features a 38.7 metre four section, full-power boom with Teflon wear pucks impregnated in the wear pad surfaces in order to eliminate the need for grease. A three part Bi-Fold swingaway extension offers up to 19.5 metres of additional reach for a maximum tip height of 60.7 metres, while the three metre stubby section can handle up to 18 tonnes. All can be manually offset at 2, 15, 30 or 45 degrees -All stowed on board.

The RTC-8080 Series II also uses an automotive style, four-link fully independent rear suspension system to reduce bounce and improve handling both on and off the road. Link Belt’s Hydro-gas Ride suspension is also available as an option.
