The lift after the incident

The man, who was employed by Superior One Tree Service, had no pulse when he was rescued and never recovered, in spite of attempts to revive him while enroute to the hospital.

The second incident occurred in Greenville, South Carolina yesterday after the boom of a large truck mounted lift was raised into the overhead power lines. The man operating the machine was electrocuted and both he and the machine caught fire. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
