Topkran takes two

Russian crane rental company Topkran has taken delivery of two five axle Liebherr All Terrain cranes, a 160 tonne LTM 1160-5.1 and a 200 tonne LTM 1200-5.1.

The five-axle LTM 1160-5.1 has a 62 metre main boom and 12.2 to 22 metre bi-fold swingaway extension which can be offset by up to 45 degrees. The LTM 1200-5.1 has a 72 metre main boom and when combined with its bi-fold swingaway extension provides a maximum height under hook of 98 metres and a lifting radius of up to 78 metres with a 1,000kg load.

The Moscow based company has been trading as Topkran since 2008, although it was originally established in 2004. It employs over 100 staff and has a fleet of 50 cranes topped by a 500 tonne All Terrain crane and a 750 tonne crawler crane.
Owner of TopKran Grigory Grigorjan said: “Quality and reliability are our highest priority and Liebherr meets our requirements in terms of products and service better than other manufacturers.”
