Briggs expands in the UK

Briggs Equipment UK has acquired the UK assets of Hyster distributor Barloworld Handling, the deal makes Briggs the exclusive UK dealer for Hyster products. The company also assumes responsibility for sales and service of both the Hyster and Yale brand of lift trucks.

Chief executive Richard Close said: "We are excited to have the addition of the Hyster brand which will expand our footprint and product offering in the UK.
