Terex appoints distributor in Mongolia

Terex has appointed Newcom Mining Services as its authorised distributor for cranes, aerial work platforms, construction and materials processing equipment in Mongolia.

“Over the past few months, we have seen increased demand in Mongolia due to the local investments in mining and infrastructure,” said Steve Filipov, Terex president of developing markets. “Supplying the Mongolian market with the exact equipment it needs and providing the best local service to our customers, are major priorities for Terex.”

"Our first year in business has been very rewarding," added John Karlsen, chief executive of Newcom Mining Services. "We have nearly completed construction on what will be the largest rental facility in the Gobi Desert. In addition, we are excited to become the authorised Terex dealer in Mongolia. We are proud to bring this world-class manufacturer to Mongolia and glad that they have decided to be represented, here, by a Mongolian-owned company."

"We are excited to share leadership with the other fine Mongolian-owned companies that are developing their capabilities here. We'd like to invite all interested parties to come and visit our facility, which is located 30 minutes west of Tsogt-Setseii, and experience our progress! We think they'll be impressed."
