Platform Sales expands

UK sales and rental company Platform Sales & Hire has appointed Wayne Moult to head up a new West Midlands location as Midlands area sales manager.

Moult joined the company in July from Nationwide Platforms where he oversaw the East Midlands area. The new Platform Sales & Hire depot is located in Marston, and will officially open on Monday 1st October. The company will operate a centralised hire desk for all customers regardless of location.

Sales director Duncan Howard said: “We have been looking for the right person to expand our hire operation in the Midlands and Wayne fits the bill perfectly, with a fleet of 250 machines running out of Milton Keynes, we feel the timing is right to open our second location.”
