New Non-Exec for Manitowoc

Manitowoc has appointed Joan Chow as a non-executive director, taking the total number of directors on its board to nine.

Chow, 52, currently serves as chief marketing officer at ConAgra Foods where she is responsible for leading the company’s global marketing team, including integrated marketing planning, advertising, social media, consumer insights, brand design, and multicultural marketing. She was previously senior vice president marketing for Sears, responsible for leading Sears Retail marketing and spent five years with Johnson & Johnson.

Joan Chow

She holds non-executive directorships with Feeding America, a non-profit organisation, and the Association of National Advertisers and previously was a director for RC2 Corporation, a leading designer, producer, and marketer of various innovative and high-quality products for mothers, infants, and toddlers.

Manitowoc chief executive Glen E. Tellock said: “We are extremely pleased to welcome Joan to Manitowoc.
