First MK88 for Turkey

Turkish crane rental and heavy haulage company Kapukaya Vinç ve Taşımacılık has taken delivery of the first Liebherr MK 88 mobile self-erecting tower crane in Turkey. Liebherr’s Turkish dealer Atilla Dural handed over the four axle crane at Ankimak – a construction machinery, building equipment and construction exhibition show in Istanbul, Turkey.

The MK88 offers a maximum lifting capacity of eight tonnes, and can handle 1.85 tonnes at its maximum radius of 45 metres or at its maximum under hook height of 59 metres. This can be increased to 2.05 tonnes if the additional two tonnes of ballast is fitted.

Emir Ali Kapukaya, managing director of Kapukaya, said: "The Liebherr MK 88 mobile construction crane is an ideal addition to our hire fleet.
