Tat Hong rises 36%

Singapore based crane and distribution group Tat Hong has reported a 36 percent increase in first quarter revenues.

Total revenue for the period was $215 million 36 percent up on the same quarter last year, while pre-Tax profits almost tripled to $26.4 million. Of the four main divisions – the largest – distribution saw revenues improve 27 percent, while Crane Rental leapt 64 percent – with growth across the board in Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Thailand and Australia.

General rental grew at a slower pace, up just nine percent, while tower crane rental improved 28 percent thanks to a larger fleet and slightly better utilisation.
