Record year for System Lift

System Lift, the German association of independent rental companies has reported that its members achieved new record in terms of revenues and overall performance.

The announcement was made at the recent Annual General Meeting in Dresden, chairman Leopold Mayrhofer told the members – who are all shareholders in the ‘association company’ AVS System Lift – that combined revenues for the 60 partner companies was over €100 million. The organisation which receives a commission on member purchases announced a dividend equivalent to around €3,000 per member.

Mayrhofer added: "I promise that we will introduce in a year an even better result. On the tenth anniversary of the company and propose a big anniversary celebration on 1 July 2013 with live music and activities.”

The organisation also claims to have trained 4,800 people during the year, through its ID card system. I says that it expects this to double over the next 12 months.

The System Lift supervisory board


During the year four partners were terminated due, it says 'to not meeting the quality standards’. At the same time two new partners were appointed in Austria - HBV Arbeitsbühnen Vermietung in Graz und Dorn Lift in Lauterach.

After the meeting participants had the opportunity to visit Palfinger’s location in Löbau for a plant tour and demonstrations.

System Lift claims to that its 60 partners operate form more than 70 locations in Germany, Austria and Switzerland with a combined fleet of around 7,500 units, including: trailer and truck mounted lifts, scissors, booms, telehandlers and cranes.
