And two make it four

UK crane rental company Baldwins Crane Hire has taken delivery of two new 80 tonne Terex AC80-2 All Terrain cranes as part of a four crane fleet replacement package.

Destined for the company’s Leeds and east London depots, they join two AC80-2’s delivered earlier this year already operating from the company’s east and west London depots.

The Terex AC80-2 features a full power 50 metre telescopic main boom plus 17.6 metre on-board bi-fold swingaway boom extension which offsets by up to 40 degrees.

The AC80-2 can also travel with its full 18 tonnes of counterweight on-board in the UK under STGO regulations, thus enabling it to operate without the need for back-up transport.

Executive chairman, Richard Baldwin said: “This model was our preferred choice for a number of reasons, but mainly because it has a proven track record for reliability and offers exactly the level of performance we and our customers need.”

Terex regional sales manager, Mark Evans added: “Baldwins has a reputation for offering their customers the latest and best in crane technology. I’m confident these cranes will help maintain that reputation.”
