First Romanian built JLG 510AJ

Romanian sales and rental company Industrial Access has taken delivery of the first 16 metre JLG 510 AJ self-propelled boom lift to roll of the manufacturers new facility in Romania.

The production of the 510AJ was recently moved from JLG’s facility in Belgium to JLG’s plant in Medias, Romania. The unit offers 9.5 metres of outreach and it has an up and over height of 7.6 metres.

Stefan Ponea, chief executive of Industrial Access, said: “The fact that we can now buy premium equipment directly in Romania allows for it to be delivered on the same day as the order. Previously we would have to wait a minimum of six days for the machine to be transported from a different country.”

Industrial Access is a distributor for JLG products and has a national coverage in Romania with eight depots, plus three subsidiaries in Serbia, Moldova and Bulgaria and runs a rental fleet of around 800 machines.
