Dropped crane

Word is coming in of brand new 250 tonne All Terrain crane being dropped during unloading at a port in Uruguay.

The crane, we understand was being unloaded from the vessel by a ship to shore crane when it was dropped. It belongs to the recently formed Roll Lift division of Roll-Dock, the company, owned by Frans van Seumeren and is a new Liebherr LTM1250-6.1. which if initial reports are correct is damaged beyond repair.

The unit was one of a batch of 16 cranes shipped to the country to help build a pulp mill.

There are no reports of any injuries.
