Ainscough and ALE form heavy-lift partnership

Ainscough, the UK’s largest crane rental company and leading heavy transportation and lifting company ALE have announced an official partnership for UK-based contracts.

The alliance brings together the capabilities of one of the largest fleets of heavy transport equipment in the world with the largest mobile crane fleet in the UK.

A statement from the two partners said:“The partnerhsip will provide an unrivalled combination of expertise and equipment. Customers of both organisations are set to reap the benefits of a more efficient and expansive service, combined expertise and a first class fleet of equipment.”

Neil Partridge, managing director of Ainscough said: “Ainscough and ALE have worked together in the UK for many years, so making the partnership official seemed like the next logical step. Ainscough operates from a network of 30 depots with a fleet of 455 cranes (Cranes & AccessTop 30 rental company figures for 2011) ranging from 10 tonnes to 1,250 tonnes capacity.

ALE provides a highly tailored, end-to-end service covering every aspect of the handling, transportation and installation of heavy, indivisible loads, including lifting, transporting, installing, ballasting, jacking and weighing.
