Conexpo off to a bright start

Conexpo opened its doors today to a sunny and relatively busy first day.

The outside lots were busy by normal first day standards and most manufacturers were in an upbeat mood, with many of them confirming orders on their stands.

It did seem though that the crane and heavy equipment buyers were more plentiful today than access buyers, but that is likely change as the week goes on

Day one was bright and sunny with a good turnout

New product launches were not as prolific as in prior years with many companies having spent their engineering hours on the installation of new engines to meet the latest regulations.

International visitors appeared to be plentiful with a particularly strong contingent from Australia.
