Crane operator electrocuted

A man was electrocuted yesterday in Yungaburra, northern Queensland, when the crane he was using to load a container onto a truck, came into contact with overhead power lines.

The 69 year-old was, we understand, using a loader crane, although this has not been categorically confirmed. He died at the scene while two other men which were assisting him were taken to hospital with minor injuries and burns.
