New director for Ashtead

Ashtead, owner of Sunbelt in the USA and A-Plant in the UK has appointed a new Non-Executive director. Ian Sutcliffe will replace Gary Iceton following the expiry of the latters second term on September 7th .
Sutcliffe is currently managing director, UK Property at Segro plc where he has been
a director since June 2008. Prior to joining Segro he was managing director of contractor George Wimpey and then chief executive of Taylor Wimpley following the merger of Taylor Woodrow with Wimpey.
Prior to that he held a number of senior roles with Royal Dutch Shell, lastly as vice president retail for Shell Oil in the USA.
