New GM for Snorkel Australia

Snorkel Australia has appointed Matthew Elvin as general manager for Snorkel Australia and New Zealand.
He was previously executive general manager with equipment distributor Clark Equipment Australia. He will report directly to Nick Sowden, Snorkel’s vice-president in the Asia-Pacific region.
Prior to his Clark Equipment days Elvin was managing director of Dynapac in Australia. He joins Snorkel on September 13th, based at the company’s headquarters in Wetherill Park, Sydney.
Snorkel also has a production facility in Levin, New Zealand and sales centres on North and South Island, plus Australian sales and service centres in Sydney, Logan City, Perth and Melbourne.
Sowden said: “Matthew’s task is to cement Snorkel as the natural manufacturer of choice in mobile elevated work platforms. His goal is to bring about a significant increase in our market share, across our entire product range, while building the internal protocols and efficiencies to support our growth.”
