A small crawler crane ended up in a canal on Marco Island Florida yesterday after the barge it was sitting on sunk.
It seems that the crane an older 17 ton crawler crane slipped off the barge as it listed overnight while taking on water. The crane smashed into a dock and caused minor oil and diesel spills.

Two telescopic cranes were called in to recover the sunken crane while the barge was re-floated. No injuries were reported.
