Cramo acquires two locations

Finnish based international rental company Cramo has acquired two fully equipped and manned rental locations and their fleets from Finnish contractor Lemminkäinen Talo Oy Keski- ja Lounais-Suomi.

The locations are in Turku and Tampere and include a five year outsourcing agreement whereby, Lemminkäinen Talo will rent all of its required equipment for
work in central and south-western Finland from Cramo.

The acquired operations comprise 10 employees and a wide range of contractors equipment.

Tatu Hauhio, managing director of Cramo Finland said: “The new agreement is a continuation to the agreement signed earlier this year with the Lemminkäinen Group, whereby Cramo acquired the entire construction machine fleet of Lemminkäinen Talo Oy Itä- ja Pohjois-Suomi and signed a similar agreement.”

“The close co-operation with the constructors has helped us to develop our services and our machine fleet reserve to correspond even better to our customers' needs. The signed agreement strengthens also regionally our market position”.

Markku Moisio, managing director of Lemminkäinen Talo Oy Keski- ja Lounais-Suomi added: ”This transaction and outsourcing agreement guarantee us a cost-effective use of modern equipment fleet in our construction projects also in the future. In addition to this, we will have a comprehensive range of construction site services available when required.
