Spider lift specialist Hinowa has announced its second lithium-ion battery powered spider lift model, the 19 metre LightLift 19.65 IIIS Lithium Ion.
The majority of the technical details of the new lift are the same as the standard Lightlift 19:65 with its triple riser, 6.5 metres of working outreach, 200kgs lift capacity, 786mm overall transport width, 2.9 metre outrigger spread and 2,100kgs total weight.

However it now incorporates the battery pack and power unit from the Goldlift 14:70 Lithium launched last year and the updated electronics and automatic outrigger system from the new series III range.

With rising energy costs the payback time for the lithium batteries will have improved significantly since it was launched last October.
Hinowa says that not only does the battery pack offer the same power and speeds as the petrol or diesel models, but battery life is more than sufficient for a full days work and recharge times are significantly shorter than for lead acid batteries.

Hinowa is showing its lithium powered lifts along with the new IIIS models at Vertikal Days in mid June.
