Haulotte scissor lift production starts in USA

The first US built Haulotte Optimum 1930 E scissor lift – the Optimum 8 in other markets - has rolled off the BilJax production line in Archibold Ohio.

The local engineering team has tweaked the design of the machine to improve the machine, including widening the platform slightly to provide a little more space and take it closer to the width of the machine.

The production team with the first USA built Haulotte scissor lift

The US built model offers a platform height of 18ft 11in or 5.76 metres and an overall width of just 30 inches / 760mm

The production of the Optimum 8 in the USA was announced on March 5th 2009 at the ARA, where a prototype was displayed.
