We're recruiting for an experienced Used Equipment Manager for our Approved Used sales division.
This varied and challenging role is a mixture of strategic and hands-on responsibilities. They include managing trade-ins, creating a price database for used equipment from a wide range of powered access brands, working closely with our engineers on refurbishments, and successfully marketing pre-owned machines to a global customer base.
The role will require some travelling within the UK and to our Used Equipment Centre in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire. Ideally, candidates will hold a valid IPAF licence and have a full driving licence that entitles them to tow trailers of up to 3,500kg.
Candidates should be persuasive, articulate, and be computer literate. Ideally, they will be confident at taking photos and in using online auction sites such as eBay. We’re looking for candidates who are highly motivated, capable of multi-tasking, and are keen to establish themselves within our business. A background in the powered access industry or in used plant equipment sales is preferred, but not mandatory.
In this role, the successful candidate will become a valued member of our sales team, liaising with our sales managers, administration team and workshops to help build our sales business. Full training will be given on the brands that we support, including Genie and Hinowa.
